MEP Alessandra Moretti, 52, said “I have filed a criminal complaint against the Phica forum site, which I discovered had been stealing photos and clips from TV shows I’d appeared on over years, and altering them and sharing them with thousands of users.”
“A long list of obscene comments followed, damaging not only my emotional well-being but also the safety of many women exposed to this disgusting new practice of posting photos without consent.”
“It’s not easy to write this post. I discovered that some of my photos were posted on an online forum without my consent,” said Valeria Campagna, 27, a PD councillor at Latina, on Facebook.
“Not just swimsuit photos, but moments from my public and private life. Below, [there were] sexist, vulgar, and violent comments.
“Today I’m disgusted, angry and disappointed. But I can’t stay silent.
“Because this story isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us. It’s about our right to be free, respected and to live without fear.”
