The opening stages were competitive but low on clear chances until Roma struck first when Wesley França curled a stunning effort into the top corner six minutes before half-time.
Juventus, however, refused to capitulate. In the 47th minute, Francisco Conceição struck a superb volley—also into the top corner—to make it 1-1.

Seven minutes later, Roma midfielder Evan Ndicka side-footed home a well-worked cross to make it 2–1 before Donyell Malen added a third with a chipped finish to put the Giallorossi firmly in command in the 65th minute.

At that point, the capital side looked destined for all three points, but momentum shifted in Juventus’ favour as Jeremie Boga—introduced from the bench—pulled another goal back with a low volley, setting up a frantic finale.
In the 93rd minute, substitute Federico Gatti finished from close range after a set-piece fell to him, completing an extraordinary comeback.
The result sees both clubs share the spoils in a pulsating encounter. Roma maintain a slim advantage over Juventus in the battle for a top-four finish, but they will be disappointed not to have held on with a two-goal lead.
