The Made in Italy Trade Expo is the only trade fair in New Zealand dedicated to the promotion of Italian products and services.
It was organised by The Italian Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand (ICCNZ), with the Patronage of ICE – Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Embassy in Wellington as its Principal Sponsor, and Lufthansa as its Gold Sponsor.
The event welcomes companies showcasing high quality and innovative products and services representative of Made in Italy, as well as hosting a variety of workshops and talks.
It was held at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, home of the America’s Cup.
Mariangela Stagnitti, President of Comites Qld & NT, hosted an informative workshop describing how Italian companies and individuals can do business in Australia.
Her talk was particularly centralised to Brisbane.
Using the Prima Fermata Queensland flyer as a guide, Stagnitti highlighted information on the ins and outs of successfully starting up in Australia, on topics from taxes to bureaucratic procedures.
“It was very successful,” Stagnitti said.
“And it was a learning curve for me as well.”
Stagnitti also thanked President of ICCNZ Carolina Izzo and her Chamber board for the well organised and well attended event.
Companies present at the Made in Italy Expo Auckland included food and beverage enthusiasts Original Sicily and Segafredo, and fashionistas L&F Cravatte.
