With rivals stumbling around them, the Giallorossi capitalised to climb into a strong position in the race for Champions League qualification.
The opening stages were tight but largely uneventful, as Roma controlled possession without creating many truly clear chances in the first half. Cremonese defended in numbers and looked to stay compact, but were unable to seriously trouble Roma keeper Mile Svilar.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 59th minute, when veteran midfielder Bryan Cristante powered home a header from a well-delivered corner to give the hosts the lead. It was a fitting moment in his 350th appearance for the club, and it sparked momentum for the home side.

Roma doubled their advantage in the 77th minute as central defender Evan Ndicka met a flick-on from Cristante with a powerful finish inside the box, extending the lead and effectively putting the match beyond doubt.
The win was sealed in the 86th minute when Niccolò Pisilli capitalised on a scramble in the Cremonese penalty area, firing low into the net to make it 3–0.
The clean sheet and three points lift Roma into equal-third place in the Serie A standings, behind Napoli on head-to-head.
For Cremonese, the defeat sees them 16th on the table, just three points above the relegation zone.
