The Portuguese star dismissed suggestions that he could cut short his three-year contract, saying he was delighted to have won Serie A at the first attempt, adding to his three English Premier League titles with Manchester United and two La Liga crowns with Real Madrid.
“I’m really happy to have won the Italian title in my first season here,” he said.
“We didn’t do so well in the Champions League but there is always next year.
“I will stay, 1,000 per cent.”
Ronaldo played a key role in the winning goal of the match against Fiorentina.
It’s the first time in Europe’s five major leagues – Italy, England, Spain, Germany and France – that a club has won eight league titles in a row.
“We don’t think it’s really sunk in that we are re-writing history,” defender Giorgio Chiellini, who has taken part in all eight victories, said.
“I don’t know if anyone will ever repeat this is football, above all in Italy – eight titles in a row.”
Juventus sealed the scudetto with five rounds to play just days after they were eliminated by Ajax in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci explained how the side had managed to bounce back from their shock Champions League exit.
“I’m sorry about the Champions but we transformed the disappointment into anger and energy,” he said.
“This scudetto, the eighth in a row, is something unique.
“We really want to celebrate; this success makes the season’s sacrifice all worth it.”
Coach Massimiliano Allegri said winning with five games to spare was a “testimony to our great season”.
“We put aside the elimination that brought us disappointment and bitterness,” he added.
“Fortunately, we had this match that allowed us to close the championship.”
The Juventus women’s team also clinched the Italian title on Saturday, with a 3-0 win at Hellas Verona in the final round of the season.
It’s the second consecutive title for the women’s squad, which was established in 2017.
