The first employee infected at McDonald’s Fawkner was confirmed last Thursday.
The staffer last worked at the outlet on April 30.
The restaurant remained open since the first case, ensuring extensive cleaning measures had been undertaken.
However, the restaurant has since closed to undertake another deep clean following the additional infections.
But it is expected to open soon with staff from other McDonald’s outlets.
All close contacts of confirmed cases have been contacted by the department and will remain in quarantine for 14 days.
