WASHINGTON D.C. – The Sons of Italy Foundation (SIF), the philanthropic arm of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), has officially announced its officers and trustees for the 2025–2027 term, following elections held during the OSDIA 59th Biennial National Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Continuing his distinguished tenure as President is OSDIA Past National President Comm. Joseph Sciame, who has led the Foundation since 2019 with vision and dedication.

Joining him in leadership are Chairman Comm. Thomas A. Lupo, Vice President Kevin A. Caira, Vice Chairman Michael G. Polo, Financial Secretary Biagio J. Isgro, Jr., Treasurer Louis R. Santoro and Secretary Lynn Lawrence-Murphy.

Alongside them, a diverse group of trustees brings expertise and commitment to the mission of the Foundation, including Philip R. Boncore, Mike D’Amore, Carol DiTrapani, Anne Evans, Vera Ferrara Girolami, Dr. Mary Kovach, Tony Naccarato, Marianne Principe O’Neil, Eldora Perfilio, Comm. Maria Fassio Pignati, Philip J. Privitera and Joseph A. Russo.

Supporting the work of the Foundation are also trustee emeriti, president emeriti and resource persons, who will contribute their experience to the activities of the board.

With these appointments, SIF reaffirms its role as a driving force of generosity and community support, having raised tens of millions of dollars over the years for scholarships, medical research, disaster relief, veterans’ causes and cultural preservation.
