It was a much-anticipated event, bringing together members and supporters to welcome the new year in a festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening was the live music, with the high-energy performance of The Sour Grapes, joined by Claude, Tony and the “pocket rocket” Lorena, who kept the crowd entertained all night with a repertoire that had the room singing and dancing well into the early hours.
There was also great excitement for a special performance by guest artists Lauren and Patrick, whose talent won over everyone in attendance.
Their polished and captivating rendition drew warm applause and plenty of goosebumps, once again confirming the high standard of entertainment the club continues to deliver.
Special thanks were also extended to Paul, described as a “highly skilled chef”, for a menu prepared with care and for the ongoing dedication shown throughout the year.
As always, the food was a central part of the celebration, bringing together flavour and Sicilian tradition.
The committee also expressed its gratitude to everyone who attended, supporting the club not only through their presence but also with words of encouragement.
“It’s people like you who make all of this possible and who inspire us to keep going,” was the message shared at the end of the night, along with best wishes for a peaceful and healthy 2026 for the entire community.
The Sortino Social Club calendar is now ready to kick off again, with the first major dance of the new year scheduled for February 7, featuring live music by Max & 99.
