SPAL took the lead inside the first minute thanks to Fabio Maistro who brought the ball down from a cross with an exquisite touch before firing it into the top corner.
Brescia were level just ten minutes later when Florian Aye’s header from a Dimitri Bisoli cross was too good for Alfonso.
Brescia could have taken the lead through Rodriguez who had turned two men in the box, but this time Alfonso pulled off a stunning save to deny him.
Moncini then went close for SPAL with his header hitting the underside of the crossbar and bouncing perfectly vertical without crossing the line.
Maistro had his brace in the 74th minute with a point-blank header from a Contiliano cross after making a clever run back post.
Olzer equalised for Brescia six minutes later with a left-footed curling shot from the right that went inside the far post despite Alfonso getting a hand to it.
The point did neither team any favours as both remain in the relegation zone.
