Both teams enjoyed the exact same amount of possession while Sudtirol created eight chances to Cittadella’s five.

Sudtirol’s Matteo Rover went close early on with a free kick that went just over the bar.

The deadlock was broken two minutes after the break when Mirko Antonucci got on the end of Giuseppe Ambrosino’s backheel just outside the box.

He hit it first time, sending into the bottom-left corner.

Sudtirol equalised through Raphael Odogwu in the 69th minute after the striker used his chest to bring down Rover’s ball into the box before shooting on the turn with his left foot and blasting it past Poluzzi in goal.

The draw means that Cittadella need a result in their final game of the season in order to avoid the relegation playoffs.
