Eugenio Palermiti, a 20-year-old aspiring to be a boss in the Palermiti clan, was among four people injured in Saturday’s shooting, sources said.
The 21-year-old suspect has confessed to firing the shots that killed the woman and said he threw the gun in the sea after, sources said on Monday.
The man was already known to local law enforcement.
