Tens of thousands of Italians participated, contributing to the event’s outstanding success.
The four-day festival was organised with great enthusiasm but very few resources.
The wonderful turnout demonstrated the need to develop and strengthen it in coming years.
The success of the fiera’s first edition is largely thanks to Mr Ettore Peduti, who demonstrated excellent organisational skills and remained committed and calm even in the most difficult moments.
Mr Peduti’s collaborators are also to be praised: Mr Borsari, for the sports section; Mr Rolando Di Bari, presenter of the various programs; Enzo and Donato Marcianò for the music; and painter, Nino Sanciolo, for the art section.
The CIC and numerous Italian clubs also helped organise the event.
The event featured many activities and competitions, including sporting contests, music competitions, and an exhibition of Italian artists.
