Around 120 guests attended the evening at the Licodia Eubea Social Club, where the hall was transformed into a lively gathering space for members, friends and representatives of other associations.

Among those present were Claudio and Anna Tolli, president and secretary of the Lazio Social Club, warmly welcomed by the hosts.

The event stood out for its careful organisation by the committee, led by President Franco Sortino and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.

Guests were treated to a Sicilian-style dinner, featuring the traditional pasta with ricotta—a symbolic dish of the Saint Joseph celebrations—while music by Joe Randellone provided the soundtrack for the evening.

A charity auction, led by Licodia Eubea Social Club president Dominic Ballirò, added further energy to the night.

A highlight of the event was the procession in honour of Saint Joseph, a colourful and devotional parade with participants in traditional costume, and offerings carried by the faithful.

Nello and Lisa Gulinello portrayed Saint Joseph and Mary, joined by young Luca Milano as the Baby Jesus, alongside apostles played by Paolo Culosi, Tony Spadaro, Paolo Ramdondetta and Giuseppe Milano.

During the procession, members of the committee presented a wide selection of handmade sweets, including torrone, biscuits and pastries, later offered in the auction—showcasing both craftsmanship and community spirit.

The evening also included a light-hearted lottery dedicated to those named Joseph (Giuseppe).

“It’s a very special event,” said Secretary Salvatore Di Lorenzo. Treasurer Paolo Culosi echoed the sentiment: “It’s a tradition we celebrate every year. It keeps us connected to our homeland and gives us a chance to come together and share moments of joy.”
