The band announced dates for their Sixty tour, which will feature 14 live shows at stadiums in 10 European countries, including Italy.
The tour is slated to kick off in Madrid on June 1, before moving to Munich, Liverpool, Amsterdam, Bern, Milan, London, Brussels, Vienna, Lyon, Paris, Gelsenkirchen and finally Stockholm.
The Milan concert will take place at the San Siro Stadium on June 21.
It will be the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood take to the road without drummer Charlie Watts, who died last August aged 80.
Steve Jordan will play drums on the band’s tour.
The set list for the shows includes classics Gimme Shelter, Paint It Black, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Tumbling Dice, (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Start Me Up and many more hits.
It has been five years since the veteran rockers last played in Italy, with a concert in Lucca in 2018.
The band performed at the Circus Maximus in Rome in 2014 and has not played in Milan in 16 years.
Mick Jagger has been no stranger to Italy over the last couple of years, staying in Tuscany for an extended period in 2020 before buying a house in Sicily last summer.
