VITA is the organisation made up of the Italian clubs at The University of Melbourne, Monash University, RMIT University and La Trobe University.

The organisation’s president, Lara Partridge, has extended an open invitation to anyone over 18.

“The Ball is really for anyone … we’ve had students from VCE, obviously university students and actually quite a few postgrad students as well,” said Partridge.

“And it’s not just for people of Italian background or those studying the Italian language,” she added.

“It’s really just for anyone who wants to have a good time and have some good Italian food and listen to Italian music.”

One ticket includes a four-course meal, unlimited drinks, a live band and a DJ.

There will also be a professional photographer and videographer, as well as a photobooth for people wanting to capture their own memories of the night!

Prizes will be given for the best dressed, the cutest couple and other fun categories announced at the event.

Tickets are $130 for members and $140 for the general public. People who purchase a full table of ten people will pay $120 per ticket.

Tickets can be purchased here.
