The visitors took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Fabio Lucioni who rose high to head in the corner taken by Leo Stulac.
Tiago Casasola equalised for Ternana in the 63rd minute when he tapped in Lorenzo Lucchesi’s low ball into the box from close range.
Ternana’s Niccolo Corrado received a second yellow card with 15 minutes remaining for a needless foul.
Despite being a man down, Ternana would hold on for a valuable point in what has been a tough season so far.
