The success of the highly-anticipated tour has set a positive precedent for touring indoor music events amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Having navigated each state’s current COVID-19 restrictions for indoor music events, the tour played to the full set capacities at venues in Brisbane, Sydney, the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Wollongong and Canberra.
Tina performed to multiple standing ovations each night, showcasing her hits and some songs she had never previously performed live, sharing brand new material and singing a song in her mother tongue, Italian.
“I feel extraordinarily lucky to have been able to tour and do my job during what is undoubtedly one of the hardest periods of time in recent history,” the celebrated singer said.
“The arts sector has been hit extremely hard and for us to be able to work again and help people escape and feel some hope and joy, even for just a brief moment in time, has been an immense privilege.”
