Salvini added that the American president, whom he has long admired, should not be considered a bully.
“Trump’s election has changed everything, those who criticise him are either jealous or do not understand,” Salvini said.
He was apparently referring to media mogul Marina Berlusconi’s criticism of the president Monday, when she warned, “Trump should not demolish the West.”
“I think that Trump is not the enemy, he has done more in a few weeks than Biden in four years,” Salvini claimed.
“If someone manages to bring Putin, Zelensky, Netanyahu and the Arab countries to the table, we should give them the Nobel Peace Prize, not [accuse them of] ‘bullying’.”
