Tutino put the home side ahead in the tenth minute with a low curling shot from outside the box.
Manuel Marras made it 2-0 in the 19th minute with a first-time volley thanks to a cross by Gianluca Frabotta.
Tutino had his second just two minutes later when teammate Federico Zuccon’s shot hit him in the shin and deflected in past a hapless Jesse Joronen.
Venezia got one back in the 24th minute through Gianluca Busio’s powerful shot from 15 yards out.
Tutino completed his hat-trick with nine minutes of regular time remaining when the ball fell fortuitously for him in the box after an initial shot was blocked. He still had plenty to do and managed to curl his effort into the far post.
Christ Gytkjaer scored Venezia’s second in the 87th minute with a tap in in front of an empty net provided by Marco Olivieri.
The win gives Cosenza a three-point gap between them and the relegation playoffs. Venezia move down to fourth, seven points behind Parma.
