The visitors had slightly more of the ball and created six chances to Udinese’s eight.

Both of Lazio’s goals were the only two on target for the Roman side.

Lazio went ahead early thanks to Luca Pellegrini’s clever free kick along the ground that went through everyone.

Walace Souza Silva equalised for the home team in the 59th minute when he got a light touch on a ball whipped in by Sandi Lovric.

Lazio restored their lead in the 76th minute with a low shot into the far post by Matias Vecino.

The loss leaves Udinese just three points above the drop zone, Lazio are seventh, three points behind fourth-placed Fiorentina.
