Possession was roughly equal as the home side created ten chances to Venezia’s nine.

The visitors took the lead through their star man Joel Pohjanpalo in the 62nd minute when he finished off a loose ball that had been bouncing around the six-yard box after it was initially whipped in from wide freekick.

It took Pisa just six minutes to equalise as Nicholas Bonfanti turned his marker and shot into the far post with his left foot.

Just as the game was looking done and dusted, Marco Olivieri popped up in the 92nd minute to score the winner with an incredible overhead bicycle kick from a cross by Gianluca Busio.

Venezia are now in second place while Pisa are 15th, four points clear of the relegation playoff zone.
