Venezia took the lead in the 20th minute when Tanner Tessmann’s first-time volley went into the bottom-left corner as Brescia keeper Luca Lezzerini stood rooted to the spot.
Tessmann had his second in the 90th minute when he tapped in Nunzio Lella’s header straight to his feet on the six-yard line.
Venezia are third, three points behind Como in second. The top two teams automatically qualify for next season’s Serie A.
Brescia are seventh with 43 points.
