In total, 93,000 buyers attended the international exhibition in the northern city showcasing Italian wines and spirits.
29,600 of those buyers came from abroad and represented 143 countries, making up around one third of the attendees.
In addition, Vinitaly clocked up more than 45,000 wine tastings (up 50% since 2022) in the historic centre of Verona.
"Today we close a Vinitaly that is now at last in full swing, one that has seen the choral participation of sector representatives, press and institutions," said Veronafiere president Federico Bricolo.
"A new course has begun, but it is certainly not over: Vinitaly will always be a vector for conveying Made in Italy, both here and abroad," he said.
The 2024 edition of Vinitaly will take place from April 14 to 17.
