The woman, Elona Kalesha, was found guilty of murdering the parents of her former partner, Tetua and Shpetim Pasho.
They went missing in November 2015 and their remains were found in the suitcases in a field between the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno super highway and the Florentine prison of Sollicciano in December 2020.
The prosecution said Kalesha massacred her in-laws in an apartment in Via Fontana, likely with the assistance of an accomplice, and hid the remains in the suitcases, of which she then disposed.
Finally, Kalesha allegedly deceived relatives of the Pasho's by claiming they had gone to Germany.
Kalesha, who was accused of double voluntary homicide and destruction of a corpse, will have to compensate the children of the victims and the brother of Shpetim Pasho, who filed as a civil party.
A provisional payment of €800,000 has also been established for the families of the victims.
