The 22-year-old came first in both the evening and day look categories.
Organised by the International Hair Stylists Society of Australia, the competition took place on June 24 at the Melbourne Town Hall.
The best hairdressers from each state and territory competed for the title.
Contestants had 15 minutes to prepare the day look and 37 minutes for the evening look.
The judges then examined each style on the elegant models.
Molinaro was crowned the winner of this year’s competition, after having come third last year.
