A Melbourne ne dà il triste annuncio la Congregazione dei Padri Scalabriniani.

Padre Lauro emigrò da giovane con la famiglia in Australia e si stabilì a Newcastle dove fu ordinato sacerdote il 7 agosto 1977. Fu un fervido servitore della Congregazione Scalabriniana e della comunità Italiana, parroco della Parrocchia di Santa Brigida di North Fitzroy dal 1998 al 2000.

Il Servizio Funebre si svolgerà giovedì 14 marzo 2019, nella chiesa di S. Theresa, Mascot, New South Wales, dove Padre Lauro ha servito come parroco la comunità negli ultimi anni prima che la malattia si aggravasse.

 

I Padri Scalabriniani invitano tutti i parrocchiani, fedeli e amici a unirsi nel ricordo e nella preghiera per il confratello Padre Lauro.
