Since then, the organisation has become an established reference point for young Italo-Australians, bringing together the most talented professionals and the next generation of business and community leaders.
With the festive season fast approaching, ALTO is preparing for its next networking event, which will celebrate the coming of Christmas and the organisation’s fifth anniversary.
Set to unfold at The Trust on Thursday, November 29, the event is an opportunity for ALTO to thank friends and sponsors for their ongoing support over half a decade.
In true ALTO style, guests will get the chance to socialise with other business professionals, young entrepreneurs and leaders in the Italo-Australian community over food and drinks.
Founding member and current president of ALTO, Steven Perri, said the organisation is pleased with how far it’s come in five years and looks forwards to contributing further to the Italo-Australian community for many years to come.
“It gives me great pleasure to have helped create an organisation that has been able to celebrate Italian culture in Australia,” he added.
Over the coming year, ALTO will focus on increasing membership numbers while providing partnership and assistance to similar organisations, such as a mentoring program with university students from the Victorian Italian-Australian Tertiary Association (VITA).
Perri said ALTO will also aim to expand interstate in the near future.
“We have a strong network of members, partners and sponsors who we value immensely and with their assistance hopefully we will continue to grow in strength and presence,” he concluded.
But for now, it’s all about celebrating ALTO’s achievements to date and welcoming the festive season in style.
Bookings for this event are essential. $30 ALTO Lifetime Members, $50 Non-members. Please email info@alto.org.au for further enquiries.
