Zinni got the home side off to a great start with a 14th minute goal before Dandenong Thunder was reduced to ten men following a red card in the 26th minute.
Avondale made the most their one-man advantage with Ahmed scoring in the 34th minute to make it 2-0 at half time.
In the second half Avondale had the chance to go 3-0 up but Kur Kur missed a penalty.
Fortunately, the miss didn’t come back to haunt them as The Avengers turned the match into a video game. Zinni scored in the 52nd minute to make it 3-0.
Ahmed scored again to make it 4-0 in the 60th minute.
Ott scored in the 67th minute to make it 5-0. Diaz scored in the 75th minute, and Zinni completed his hattrick in the 78th minute to make it 7-0.
An own goal in the 87th minute completed the 8-0 result and moves Avondale into second place on the table.
The Avengers have a big two weeks coming up; they host Green Gully this Saturday before playing away to South Melbourne, who are currently top of the table.
