Twenty-seven works by the artist Banksy have been put under legal sequestration in a debt row between a company that put on a recent show in Puglia and the company that owns the building.

Mediafarm Srl, the company that runs the Mura Urbiche exhibition space in Lecce, reportedly owes 43,000 euros to A&M (Antonelli & Marziani) Cultural Consulting srl, the company that owns the works by the mysterious British artist and which organised the show.
The exhibition, titled An Artist Known As Banksy, ran from June 20 to September 30 and brought in 14,500 visitors.
A&M says Mediafarm did not hand over the part of the takings agreed to settle the debt.
