The G7 Culture Summit is scheduled to open in Naples on Friday, September 20.

Bocelli will perform with conductor Carlo Bernini, while internationally renowned soprano Carmen Giannattasio will star in a concert directed by conductor Beatrice Venezi, who leads the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini’s death, Giannattasio - known for her interpretation of Tosca in the opera of the same name - will perform Vissi D’Arte.

She will also perform Casta Diva from Norma and La Danza by Gioacchino Rossini as an homage to the city hosting the G7 Culture Summit.

The G7 event will kick off on Friday at Palazzo Reale in the port city.

Delegations, however, are scheduled to arrive in Naples on Thursday afternoon when they will visit the National Archaeological Museum.

They are also set to attend a performance starring young artists from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella.
