Gabriele Ciancuto, a student originally from Amelia, is continuing his passion as a budding populariser and after the success of Il sistema solare, published just over a year ago.

In Physics for the little ones, he invites young readers - the book is intended for the 6-10 age group - to explore physics through practical experiments and everyday games.

“Each chapter opens with a stimulating question that encourages reflection to develop one’s curiosity,” reads a description of the book.

“Through the observation of everyday games, such as throwing a ball to explain the concept of speed or the movement of the swing in the playground to illustrate levers, Gabriele makes physics accessible and fun.

“Each chapter also includes simple scientific experiments to do at home, such as observing the propagation of sound using spoons, water and glasses.”

Gabriele’s passion for science emerged “during elementary school, thanks to the influence of his teachers, Beatrice and Alessandra, who encouraged him to explore this fascinating field”.
