The annual Italian Auto Icons Display is set to return for its fifth edition on Sunday, March 4, showcasing the best of the best in the industry.

What better place to hold such an event than Melbourne’s very own “Little Italy”: Lygon Street.

The street - an icon in itself - will be closed off between Faraday and Elgin Streets to accommodate over 70 classic Italian cars and more than 50 popular Italian bikes and scooters.

The collection includes rare, iconic, classic, vintage, early and current models of Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati and Lamborghini cars, with a collective value of more than $25,000,000.

Made possible thanks to the collaboration of six Melbourne-based car clubs,  a group of private owners and luxury car dealerships, the event is a car enthusiast’s dream day.

Face painting and other activities will take place on the day, and free entry makes it the perfect family event.

Get ready to smell the leather and soak up the splendour of some of Italy's finest creations!
