“I didn’t agree with Macron’s words, and I told him,” said Meloni.
“You have to be careful about the tone you use.
“But that doesn’t mean not doing what’s right.
“You have to be careful about how certain things are ‘sold’, in quote marks,” she said in an interview going out Wednesday night on Rete4.
“I’ve come from an EU summit where we discussed civil protection and I find myself in various publications [saying] that we are preparing Europe for war, because there was a part that said we must cooperate on the response to the crisis, but we were talking about civil protection.”
