A school near Milan has been invaded by coypu and parents have grown exasperated by the holes dug and excrement left spread around in the grounds by the large semi-aquatic rodents, local media reported Tuesday.

Numerous exemplars of coypu have been roaming the grounds at San Donato Milanese for weeks, and their provenance is unknown.
Some think they may have escaped from a Milan zoo.
“We can’t stand having to bring our kids into this institute watching where we step,” said the parents.
