Zuppa di cime d’ortica
A delicious soup that the whole family will enjoy.
• 800g nettle tops
• Oil
• 100g bacon, diced
• 1 onion, sliced
• 4 peeled tomatoes, chopped
• Salt
• Chilli
1. Carefully remove the stringy fibres from the nettle before washing and chopping it.
2. Pan fry the bacon in a little oil.
3. Add the onion, tomatoes and nettle. Season with salt, pepper and chilli.
4. Mix in some boiling water.
5. Serve hot.
