La Fiera Italian Festival Myrtleford

The La Fiera festival returns to Myrtleford, bigger and better than ever in 2020. Come and see local masterclasses by local experts including noted Patrizia Simone with her pasta masterclass with local nonni. Featuring wild mushroom forages, live music, the annual barista race, grape stomping competition and cultural and historical displays of Italian migration. Enjoy the village atmosphere of Saturday’s Food and Wine Festa, where you can try local wines and traditional dishes made by local ‘Circoli’ from various regions in Italy. Bendigo Bank will hold a Children’s Activity Hub full of free kid friendly entertainment and activities, including free face painting, balloon creations, comedian and photo booth. There will be a fabulous feast of food and wine from the Trentino region of northern Italy, heritage displays, including local historical displays at the Old School Museum. Take part in the mass to celebrate St Anthony of Padua in the piazza, watch a full day of soccer matches and bocce competitions, or join in the Rolling Gnocchi Bicycle Tour. This will truly be having fun, the Italian way.
