LE RICETTE DELLA NONNA COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The promotion is called the Le Ricette Della Nonna Competition. It is a competition that will be promoted in the Italian Newspapers Il Globo and La Fiamma and on their respective digital platforms, together with advertising on Rete Italia, the Italian radio network.
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
- The Promotion is open to all permanent residents in Australia over the age of 18. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate family) are ineligible to participate in the prize pools.
- Participation opens on July 1, 2021 via Ilglobo.com, lafiamma.com.au and entry coupons will be published in Il Globo and La Fiamma from this date.
- Participation closes on 13 Septmeber 2021 at 5pm for online entries. Entry coupons received after this date by mail will be accepted if they display the post office stamped envelope of this date. All times references throughout these terms and conditions are based on AEDST.
- Entries will include a recipe submitted by the entrant. A selection of entries and recipes will be published in Il Globo and La Fiamma each week based on selected editorial criteria, commencing on July 15, 2021. The prize includes Richter Radio valued at $84.95. This prize will be shipped to the winner. The prize is not transferable for cash.
- Entries submitted may be published online (ilglobo.com & lafiamma.com.au) in English or Italian at the discretion of the promoter.
- Entries submitted may be used by the promoter in any future publication whether in print or online.
- These entries do not predetermine the winner of prizes.
- Final entries will be published on 2 September 2021.
- A selection of entries will be selected for publication in La Buona Cucina Supplement on 30 September 2021. The publication of these entries does not predetermine the winner of any prize.
- Classica is offering two Classica Diamond Stone 2.0 non-stick cookware prize packs valued at $2000. One prize pack is for Il Globo entrants and one prize pack is for La Fiamma entrants. Prize pack includes: Heavy forged aluminium body, 5-layer premium diamond stone non-stick surface, Full induction base making it suitable for all stove tops including induction, Oven-safe slim design stainless steel handle with silicone grip. The winners of the major prize packs offered by Classica will be drawn by random selection at the offices of Il Globo, located at 461 Victoria Street, Brunswick West at 11am on 15 September 2021. Two barrel draws will be conducted, one for the entrants from Il Globo and one for the entrants of La Fiamma.
- The winners will be announced in La Buona Cucina Supplement to be distributed nationally on 30 September 2021. The Promoter will also send a letter to the winners subsequent to the publication confirming the prize and the method of redemption.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- Incomplete and indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- The prizes (or any part thereof) including any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
- If for any reason a winner does not take or use a prize, or part of a prize, at the time stipulated, then the prize, or that part of the prize will be forfeited. There is no entitlement to any form of compensation if any prize of part of a prize is forfeited.
- If a prize or part of a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize or part of prize for a different prize of equal value.
- You consent to your personal information being collected, used and disclosed in accordance with our privacy policy available at ilglobo.com/privacy and lafiamma.com.au/privacy
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury: or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way our of (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promotor’s control); (b) any theft, authorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that states in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if any prize event is cancelled or delayed for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) attendance at a prize event.
- The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose. disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents and contractors. Entry is conditional on providing this PI.
- The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy.
