Avondale FC were looking to get back into the winners circle having taken only one point from their last two league games while Altona have had a rocky start and were looking to take points.
It was the home team that started stronger, with Kur Kur scoring in the 5th minute. Zinni made it 2-0 in the 35th minute. The score stayed the same until half time, after which the Avengers were keen to not let their opposition gain any momentum.
Zinni made it 3-0 in the 71st minute before Diaz finished the game off in the 87th minute to make it 4-0 at full-time.
Avondale FC now travel to Oakleigh Cannons on the night of Friday, April 12 for a 3rd vs 5th clash.
