The event was attended by Victorian Premier Rupert Hamer and Lord Mayor of Melbourne Alan Douglas Whalley.

Twenty-one women were vying for the crown, which went to Karen Pircher (left) from the Veneto S.C.

She will go on to compete for the title of Miss Victoria on October 16.

Meanwhile, the title of Charity Queen went to Nadia Rigone, who was also representing the Veneto Club and raised $6008.85.

Lora Montagna was awarded the title of First Charity Princess after raising $3309.21, while Stella Cannizzaro was named Second Charity Princess for raising $2000.

The two women were representing the Toscana S.C. and Vizzini S.C. respectively.

The proceeds of the event will go to the Royal Women’s Hospital and CO.AS.IT.
