These are the dates that esteemed Italian singer Albano Carrisi, fondly referred to as Al Bano, will grace the stages of our major cities.
Set to return to Australia due to popular demand, Al Bano is one of the most adored Italian voices both within the Belpaese and outside its borders.
Last year, he was even awarded Albanian citizenship due to his close ties with the country.
Born in the town of Cellino San Marco in the southern region of Puglia, he was named Albano because his father Carmelo Carrisi was fighting in Albania for the Royal Italian Army during World War II.
Since making his debut in 1966, Al Bano has enjoyed more than half a century of musical success, having sold millions of albums and won myriad awards.
His songs are timeless classics which have been performed in all corners of the globe, both solo and with his ex-wife Romina Power, with whom he reunited to perform in 2013.
One of the singer’s most recent successes was his 2015 sell-out concert at the Arena di Verona, where he performed before an “intimate” crowd of 11,000 people.
The show featured special guests and was transmitted by the Italian national TV network RAI, being viewed in over eight countries by 51 million viewers around the world.
If you’re after a night of pure Felicità, Al Bano is your man.
