The clarification came as Fedez explained having to duck out of a TV appearance.
“I don’t know why they’re saying I’m dying,” the cancer survivor and estranged husband of influencer and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni wrote on Instagram.
“Hi everyone, I wanted to reassure you all that I’m fine.
“I had some problems this weekend but nothing serious.”
Fedez had cancelled his participation in host Alessandro Cattelan’s show on Rai2, due to health problems.
Fedez came out of a bout of cancer and depression earlier this year.
