On an icy pitch and against opponents who have built a reputation for unsettling Europe’s elite, Juventus were made to work for every metre and were forced to dig deep to reclaim control after a shaky first half.

Bodø/Glimt struck first in the 27th minute, capitalising on sloppy Juventus defending from a corner. Ola Blomberg arrived late into the six-yard box to slot home a low finish that sent the home crowd into full voice.

Juventus struggled to find rhythm before the break, lacking fluidity in attack and allowing the Norwegians too much space between the lines. Their best look of the half came from a deflected effort that drifted just wide.

The mood changed immediately after the restart. Juventus returned with greater intensity and equalised in just over two minutes when Loïs Openda was found in the box and calmly beat the keeper to make it 1–1.

The goal lifted the Italians, and by the 59th minute they had turned the match around. Weston McKennie pounced on a well-weighted cross and headed Juventus ahead, a moment that briefly settled the visitors and suggested they had seized control.

But Bodø/Glimt refused to fade. Their persistence paid off in the 87th minute when they converted a penalty through Sondre Fet following a clumsy challenge.

With the match poised for a frustrating draw, Juventus delivered the decisive blow in stoppage time. Jonathan David was at the right place at the right time in the 91st minute to react to a save from the keeper and finish with composure, silencing the stadium and restoring Juve’s lead at the death.

As the group stage tightens, this win may prove to be one of the defining moments of their campaign, offering a surge of momentum and a reminder of their capacity to grind out results under pressure.
