The meeting also had the purpose of launching an important new initiative: the association’s website.
This is a decisive step for the association that represents the younger generations and aims to be a reference point for Italians under 40 who decide to leave the Bel Paese to seek a new life in Australia.
On the new GIA website, it will be possible to find news, updates, past events and the various projects coming up/
President Domenico Stefanelli and Treasurer Giuseppe Musmeci Catania said they were excited to present all the events for the coming season and look forward to meeting the community.
They’re also excited to hear more young voices and provide help and support to them on their long journey of integration into the Italian community in Sydney.
Musmeci Catania added that “we will soon organise an aperitivo”.
