The 29-year-old won the competition on September 14, which was held at the Alpe Adria arena in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Udine.

El Kholti has an Italian mother and Moroccan father, but holds Australian citizenship after living in Sydney for almost seven years.

He graduated in languages from the University of Verona, before moving to Madrid to continue his studies, then to Australia to try his luck at making his fortune.

He first worked in casual restaurant positions, before getting a job in a bank.

El Kholti grew up in Costermano sul Garda, in the province of Verona.

He is a huge fan of AC Milan, but says he is inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo.

He also loves Freddie Mercury and his favourite actor is Leonardo Di Caprio.

El Kholti’s award was presented by Denny Mendez, who won Miss Italia 1996 and who was the first Miss Italia of colour.

This is not the first time that El Kholti has won a male beauty pageant; in 2018, he won the ICN World Championships in Australia, in the category “Men’s Fitness” which awarded the best “natural body builder”.

El Kholti is ready to compete in Mister Mondo 2020, which will name the most handsome man on the planet.
