“You can apologise if you accidentally hit my car mirror,” wrote Tramontano in an Instagram story after the hearing in Milan.
“You can’t apologise if you [killed] my sister and my nephew, making fun of us and deriding her.
“You have no right to utter [the names of], invoke or think about Giulia and Thiago,” she continued, referring to her sister who was killed with 37 knife blows in May 2023 after finding out Impagnatiello was having an affair and their unborn son.
“Having killed them barbarically, you deserve to wake up every day in jail thinking back to what you did and feeling disgust for yourself,” concluded Tramontano.
Giulia’s brother Mario also later shared the same story on Instagram.
The family, which is standing as a civil plaintiff in the case that shocked Italy for its brutality, is calling for Impagnatiello to be handed a life sentence.

On Thursday, Impagnatiello had apologised for his “inhumanity” at the opening of his trial.
“I am only saying sorry to a lot of people, but it will never be enough,” said the 30-year-old former barman in a statement to the court.
“I was gripped by something that will always remain inexplicable and by inhumanity,” he added.
“I was distraught and lost,” continued Impagnatiello.
“That day I destroyed the child I was ready to receive.
“That day I also died; I am here talking but I am no longer alive.
“I do not ask for this apology to be accepted, because I every day I feel what it means to lose a child and much more and I cannot ask for forgiveness,” he concluded.
